💌 How do I send messages?

Push notifications are the notifications you receive when your phone is turned off. With push notifications, you can send messages to your audience about your news (new products, new map, events) or promotions.

The number of push notifications you can send depends on your plan.

Why send push notifications?

1. Deliverability

According to a study by ..., push notifications are the most effective way to communicate. 60% more effective than SMS for example.

2. Personalization

With a push notification, you can more easily send :
* photos,
* GIFs,
* call-to-action buttons ("Visit our site", "Make an appointment" etc....)
* videos
* sounds

How to send push notifications via Yollty?

First of all, it is important to understand that in order to be relevant and effective, you only send push notifications to your community, i.e. customers who have decided to follow you.

You cannot send messages to individuals who are not members of your Yollty card.
This is to respect two points:
-No one can write to your audience but you
-Respect the privacy of Yollty members.

Sending push notifications is done in 5 steps:

Step 1: Open the "Send new message" page in your dashboard

You can:
1. Go to your dashboard: https://business.yollty.com
2. Click on Marketing
3. Click on Messages
4. Click on Send new message

or
Simply click here: https://business.yollty.com/messaging/new.

Step 2: Message type

No matter which way you decided to go before, you will arrive on this screen:

You can choose between sending a push notification or an in app message.

Step 3 : Choose your audience

Once the Push Notification is added, you can go to the next step and choose your audience according to 3 main criteria:
* Date of the last client transaction
* Customer defined message limit
* Customer's registration day

Step 4 : Create your message

You can write the title of your message as well as the content. If you wish, you can also add an image or a link to your message.

Step 5 : Confirmation

You must submit your message :

A window with a confirmation request will appear. You must click on 'yes' and confirm:

You are redirected to this page:

Your message has been sent!
